Introduction

We at Nitro Commerce, a leading martech startup, have acquired Zodiac, a quick commerce intelligence platform, as we double down on building an end-to-end autonomous growth stack for D2C brands. The key objective of this acquisition is to help D2C brands solve what we believe is quick commerce's biggest growth blind spot: the lack of real-time visibility and control across fragmented dark store networks.

The Quick Commerce Blind Spot

Quick commerce now contributes 40–50% of incremental revenue for many consumer brands, but most especially SMBs lack visibility into which pin codes are stocked out, where advertisers are wasting money, or why competitors are outselling them in the same neighborhood. This opacity leads to lost sales, excess ad spends, and stalled scale.

Zodiac by Nitro: AI Copilot for Quick Commerce

To solve this pain point, we are launching Zodiac by Nitro — an AI copilot for quick commerce that deploys AI agents to autonomously track SKUs and optimize demand at a pin code level in real time across platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart. It monitors competitors and ultimately delivers outcomes for brands, not just insights.

Unlike traditional dashboards that only display data, Zodiac by Nitro's agentic AI layer translates fragmented signals into real time actions such as reallocating ad spends or nudging teams on replenishment and discounting decisions.

It comes on the back of our recent $5 million funding round, which followed 10X revenue growth and $5 million ARR, as well as our ₹100 crore embedded capital partnership with GetVantage to fund brand expansion.
